STUPID TAGS
I just bought a new '04
On BOTH the sunvisors is an obnoxious tag warning me and the passenger that children would be safer riding in the back seat. Yea, right!
How can I safely remove these unsightly tags without distroying the sunvisors?

The search is good advice here. Up thru '02, the stickers could just be ripped off without leaving a trace, but in '03 they changed the adhesive, and I believe it now requires a solvent. The column can still lock up, the gas gauges still don't work, but by golly they've got the best glue in the industry.

These new tags will not come off easily so I did what I thought was the next best thing to cover these glairing stupid tags.
I painted them flat black.

I used an iron on my 04. I heated the stickers up, and they peeled right off.
