Default Meguiars offering a new synthetic line (available in Feb 04)

Meguiars offering a new lineup called NXT. There is a consumer line and a porfessional product line. It claims to offer the durability of a synthetic, a carnauba like shine in terms of depth, and scratch and swirl filling capabilities. Sounds like a real winner to me! :hurray:

I have tried this product while at a Meguire's clinic and it is unbelievable! At the time of testing, it was referred to as lab sample D and it will be a "must have" product for all of those who baby their car's finish. You can visit the link for showcargarage.com to see some of the results for yourself....better yet buy it when it become available on the market.

Was that your polo green vette pictured in the thread from showcargarage? With no prep work done...it really came out well. What are your impressions of durability so far? Are any of the swirls coming back yet? Is it still beading water well?

I can't wait for this stuff to hit the shelves in Feb. Looks like it's going to be a great product. The warmth of carnauba, and great protection.

There is a kit out there that offers the PC, a 6 in counterweight and the backing plate you'll need for around 125 shipped. I forget....maybe it was northerntool. com. By the time you add in the price of pads from properautocare, you'll be looking at just over $150.

interesting....my car (and our Yukon) has got some serious swirl marks in it that hand polishing is just not going to take care of.....

Got mine for $110 just about a year ago from http://www.coastaltool.com - including the velcro (hook and loop) backing plate and 6 in counterweight.

A PC wityh a foam pad won't generate enough heat to burn paint. If you want to be extra cautious, tape off sharp edges, door handles, etc.
