The area is respectable but I have trouble with hoses and black plastic discoloring with a grey/white powdery surface on the hoses etc. It doesn't remove with wiping and I am leery of products as Armoral. Most of the people at shows have rides that are virtually perfect. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanx Rad
Armorall Tyre spray - fixed all my black plastic parts that were white/ powdery / bleached - there was a big thread going about this about 8 months ago. It's made a huge difference and lasts and lasts - I've resprayed twice but never seen everything go back to the grey white powdery look - I was amazed at how good and easily it fixed everything.
I was concerned that everywhere would turn into a gooey sticky mess but that's not the case - I now spray the wheel wells, under the bonnet - everywhere - remember not to spray on Serpentine belt as it's slippery.
Wash engine for the first time application and get everything as clean as you can, spray onto a warm engine close the hood and wait 20 minutes - TOO EASY - they're bound to make it illegal.
Try Stoners Trim Shine on EVERYTHING under the hood (except the serp belt :D) On hard surfaces you may need a little buffing but it leaves everything looking great!
