Stoner's Tarminator works good. If they aren't that big I will use a small piece of clay bar and a lot of lube. After I use the piece of clay I throw it out. Regardless, the most important thing is to remove them quickly. The longer they stay on the suface the more damage they can do, especially the killer bugs in the southeast.

yeah, well I don't have the car waxed yet. I've only had it for 4 days and the first two were driving. Now I have some bugs...
What about bug & tar remover? I have a good one from Turtle Wax I use on my other cars...
I'm sure it will be easier when I get it waxed...

I would get as much off with wash and water as possible and then use the bug & tar remover only on the spots that have remaining bug residue and scrub with a seperate twel or applicator. After that I would apply some wax/polish as I have seen some removers(havn't had experience with the Turtle Wax) that strip wax off as well.
