Polishing Question
Is it ok to wax/polish the vette after several days in the garage post washing, or will the minute dust particles scratch the paint?

If it has dust on it, I would clean it off before waxing. No use rising scratching it.

:iagree: Mine has never sat for "a couple days" but if it did, I dust it and use detailer, then wax/polish.

A quick detailer would be my choice. Or you could hose off the dust with only water and pat-dry the finish. :yesnod:

If you intend to clay bar the car, you don't even have to dry it. The extra water drops help to lubricate the clay bar in addition to the spray lubricant you will use. Just saves a few minutes.
