I have a 2004 triple blk vert. w/ approx. 250 mi.
The hood of the car had a small swirl mark that I did notice when I bought the car (I figured I could buff/wax it out) but upon closer inspection it looks like a bird may have left a spot on it and someone carelessly wiped it off (dealership or tranport co.).
I cannot really feel it when I rub my finger upon it and to be honest you have look hard and in direct sunlight to really see it, but I know its there !
Is there something I should try to remove it, or am I most likely going to make it worse and the area around it worse. I put a couple of coats of Zaino on this weekend and the Swirl marks around it are gone, or at least not visable!
I am hesitant to do something to cause a repaint even though I was told it may be a warranty claim. Thanks for any suggestions.
I would try some 3M 39009 by hand on a clean 100% cotton cloth or high qualirty microfiber cloth. You will have to re-Zaino this area once you are done as well.
Been there done that, My advice is to leave it alone you will only make it worse... Put on 3-5 coats of Z5 and 2 Coats of Z2 using Z6 between coats. And Voila you won't be able to see it.
