removing bug stuff
have a small spot on the front of my Silver C6 that seems like what's left of a bug.. didn't come off with the wash - and I can't even seem to scrape it off with my fingernail.
What's safe to use?

yup, I use bug and tar remover when I have to. It's kinda scary putting that stuff (I think it's just kerosene or diesel) on your Corvette. But it's not even close to being as bad as what happens if you don't get the bug off. There will be no paint in that spot in 6 mos if you don't get it off.

You can also use Shout spray. Since bugs are mostly protien, Shout is used to get protien stains out of clothes. I have used it and it works.
