My New Bests
I don't know what the DA was but I guessing 1500-2000ft. The track was prep'd awesome in the morning... Then it went away bad. I had been launching at 6k both friday and early Saturday then later in the afternoon when the bracket racing started for the WCCC I launched and went sideways enough for me just to give up the pass ,but still won because the other driver broke out, he thought I was in his blind spot. Backed it down to 4500 still got loose. My clutch is hating me
My problem is my MPH it should have been higher. I had Pat change the plugs to Bosch platinum 4+ and I think I lost a bunch of HP. At least I hope it is that simply
Here is the 11.37 pass

An 11.40 pass. Pat didn't get the 11.36

This one just because :pp: Tommy was playing with my helmet and I told him I wanted to take a Pic. He says sure mom.. But wait a sec.. Walks over and grabs what he has in hand and says ok Mom
He must be related to McRat

We are trapping 3 mph less then we should have been. The only change since the last track day was the spark plugs. But we had gained 6 rwhp with the Bosch on the stock engine. Guess it doesn't work on higher compression engines. We are going to throw him on the Dyno this week then swap back to NGK plugs to confirm this.
What launch technique are you using these days?
What psi do you run in the ET Streets?
and how many passes on your Spec clutch?
Are you changing the clutch fluid to keep it fresh?
TIA,

I was just letting the clutch out quickly.
I was running 14lbs until Saturday afternoon then dropped them to 13.5 but by that time the track was gone.
We have approx 60 passes on Spec and about 11 of them I have launched at 6k. It's been a great track clutch so far but does chatter a bit on the street.
Pat hasn't changed the fluid yet. But I will have him look at it when he changes the plugs later in the week. I have some dyno time on Wednesday.
We have another private track day on the 13th so he has 10 days to figure out the problem
It's just nice to finally have the car stay together again and get some seat time. Seems lately the only time I get to drive it is at the track
