hi all,
im looking for the specific NHRA verbaige(sp?) pertaining to rollbars. 4,5,6pt. welded, bolted, etc...

At this point ,the track can call the shot.
Used to be 6 point was ok .
Now they say after 11.49 you need a window net and sf 5 jacket and they can require gloves and shoes.
8 point is what the rule book says ,Onec again the track calls the shots.

In NHRA there is no such thing as a 4 point roll bar. It has to be 5 points or more. Bolted can be OK if properly done. You really need to purchase an NHRA rule book. A jacket and a 5 point belt system or harness is required. No window net. Additional safety equipment may be required for exotic body styles, by not for the run of the mill Corvette Forum coupe or convertible. Too many people posting erroneous information.
