Thought this was too funny to keep to myself.

Last week I race in Salem OH. Had a long rain delay. When I went to load the car on the trailer, I find I left the key in the on position. Dead battery. guys next to me help me out.

This week, I get the car loaded and go to drive the truck away, guess where I find my keys....that is right, in the on position and another dead battery

What are the chances of making the same stupid mistake on consecutive weekends?

I can top that. I forgot to turn the VSC (variable stall converter) on before one of my qualifying passes today. We talked about it, joked about it, Leo and Julio busted my ***** a little. What happened on the very next run? Forgot to turn it on again. Two stupid mistakes within an hour.

I got a little distracted today because we made more changes to the car. I've never forgotten to do that and yesterday I did it twice back to back. Go figure.
