The Professor gets Schooled...
WJ and DC lined up last night for the first time since their "duel" ....I know I was interested in what might happen...well, the kid went in fast and left WJ at the tree beating him in a holeshot...DC had a perfect opportunity to do some name calling after the race...being the sportsman he is, he did not...he was gracious in victory and thanked his sponsors and team...DC made one quick comment that "summer school is out"...WJ had had nothing to say, apparently..
DC had another holeshot win the next round but then, unfortunately, went out in the usual manner...he left real good on his opponent who promptly drove around him...someone needs to get his ride squared away so he can use those driving skills of his...

I don't want to start trouble here but you said DC said nothing and then said that he said "summer school is out".
While the words are not as strong as calling someone a punk, DC partook in the same trash talking WJ did and that sparke a week long discussion....

I'd like to see WJ go out on top......but geez learn to cut some lights. Even something half way decent will do. He's down like 5 or 6 hole shot losses this year. A couple of years ago he had the HP and had like 8 holes losses......last year he didn't have the HP and seemed to be much better on the tree. This year, he's got the HP again and his lights have gone to crap.

Greg Anderson may not have the low RT's of Dave but he's consistent, knows how to build power and setup the car. He's no.1 and should be. That guy has talent we could only dream of having.

We missed it since we were out racing, but DC is a close friend, and since he has not been able to match the power of WJ & GA, he has done an awesome job on the tree! Look at the stats though....Jeggy has one of the best average reaction times in PS also!
WJ is, and will be the king of PS when he retires no matter what, but we always root for Dave!!!! Watch this kid keep making the world pay attention!!

This is from NHRA.In Pro Stock, Greg Anderson regained the No. 1 ranking early in the day and then powered forward and scored his 35th career victory, which ties him with "Big Daddy" Don Garlits on the all-time wins list.
Greg is the KING of PS and Big Daddy will always be king of top fuel.

ESPN said " the professor took the young Connoly to school" WJ said "guess I taught that punk a lesson" ( attack mentioning Connolly directly)
Connolly said "guess summer school is out" aimed at no one in particular, the way WJ's comment was.
I agree with Dan, Connolly handled it with WAY more class than WJ did, and Dave had even MORE reason to gloat.
What's my definition of class? A person who says "excuse me" while breaking wind with no one else present.
