The individual in the white car stated his best RT that day was .038. Let's assume he had an .05 this run. What do you think the RT was for the yellow car?

I'd say at LEAST .800 on a 000 tree.

I'm with Oliver. I was thinking 1.2. I'll go with 1.35.

We all do it. Maybe not quite that bad but I know this individual is new at this and is working on it.

A month ago I staged and then remembered to flip a switch I normally do when I prestage. I looked down, flipped it and when I looked up the tree had already started. I think I had a .185 RT.

so what RT is considered good/ desireable, I know that you want as low as possible, but at what point are you pushing the limits of red lighting?

Any suggestions for timing the lights? (I used third yellow, but I think I'd have to jump that to get faster).

I think most would like to be in the .0teens. The goal you shoot for is dependent on the level competition as well. For example, in our Corvette Challenge an .0thirty's average will win you a fair amount of rounds.

However on other, more series bracket racing classes and .0thirties average well get you an early trip home very often.

You can improve your reaction time with a few different methods.

Mine says it's 'defrost'. I think defrosters are legal.

I own a Corvette and as far as I can tell the defrost is not a "flip" swich.

You did read the tear down rule right?

A lot of it depends on how hard your car launches. A guy with a fast car can get a much better RT without half the effort of someone with a slow car.

Should you take a chance on going red? Depends on the event like Edgar said and also depends on the driver you're going against.

I read it?? Figure of speech. Are you camped out watching my azz tonight? If so, we're watching E Ring and then Martha Stewart.

That was a joke. Go talk to Soda Pop in the Bradenton Challenge post. I think he's getting pretty pizzed about his points. I knew this was coming.

Did you see the PM I sent her? I said I knew payback was hell and I knew it was coming. You, on the other hand just blew her cover. I wonder what's in store for you?

I can't read that slip.
