No John. Everyone has been very respectful thus far and I really appreciate even though it does affect me negatively both now and will during the racing season.
Get to a doctor asap. I detect the dreaded martyr syndome.

Back when this started, I remember a rule that said stock floorboards, no back halves etc. I guess somewhere along the line that changed.

This is probibly a rare thing, but I agree with Mike on this one . Street class and an all out class would be very cool. It would definatly increase the amount of people who try to run heads up since as it is now you need one hell of a set up to compete.
But none of this matters for three reasons, one, we need a year of more than the same 8 cars running the pro 8 to need to expand it. Two, someone needs to step up and sponsor this class and three, someone has to manage this class. I know most racers cant because we are busy, Edgar is takin' advantage of as it is, so who is going to step up to the plate?? The only people I know who are willing to go to the track for every race are racers! With all the sponsors and sub sponsers between the two events I personally would not mind a smaller pay out (since non of us are there for that anyway) and pay someone a minimal fee to take care of these things.(like how the tech guys get paid for the quick 8) Then It might be easier to find someone. Just an idea

Who's to say that the suspension and not the motor makes a car a "true" Corvette?

Take your ECS SPONSORSHIP cost and X it by 10. Thats where the money comes from.
I have no idea what the sponsorship cost of the quick 8 is but I do know what the tech inspectors get paid (as one of them is a very good friend of mine) and I can say this, it's not much! At least not enough to make or break anything. It was just a thought, if it cant work out then so be it, but at least it was a suggestion that maybe we can work on for the 07 pro 8?
You want it? It's only a conversation and a certified check away from being your property. It'd save you a ton of work and money in the long run. But, first, I have to kick some Viper *** in Bradenton.

Doug if it weren't for guys like you and Chris and all the other sponsors that support the racers year after year there would be no Challenge.
