I have a just completed A@A with 740 hp and over 700 hp,6spd, and my 18 inch drag radials are useless.I am thinking about going to a 16 but is there a way to go 15 on a 97 c5,big props to my idols steath and paul zo6.who is running the best combo with a irs and a stick because this hp is useless right now.

Yes you can got to 15's but it requires switching to smaller brakes and rotors made for racing. Not sure of all the surgery that is required but Strange Engineering makes a small drag race brake kit for the fronts and rears.

Paul Z can give you more info when he logs on as he has them.

I am switching to 15" fronts

Cant you just sitch the the 4th gen fbody front calipers and rotors?

The calipers are interchangeable and will give you a little more room, but the brackets aren't, so the rotors won't work.

thanks guys,what about a 16 though,I asked this question on another post and was told that it would ruin my car except for drag racing,and would lose its handling etc,

If you are getting dedicated drag wheels like the CCW drag package you would not be doing much street driving in them.
