I don't know Ron. Edgar should be able to do a sort if he has logged all runs and see how many cars would be able to run an 11.50 index.

Mary and I are fine but her aunt may need surgery. If so we won't make the banquet. Hope to know today.

How so Mr. Pessimist? You just have to see who ran what and see if they would be interseted. Or you could just post and ask the guys who would want to run a slower index and what would they want that to be. There are already two guys that would like to see 11.50. You could fill that index in a heart beat.

I know, you disagree.

Pessimist? Where did you get that from? It's more like optimist in that people will be making changes to go quicker. Then again, since you said you spent two weeks on your tires I don't expect you to grasp everything right away

No, I do not disagree with you (not this time anyway ) I think 11.50 would be very popular. However, Rome was not built in a day. 2006 will be Pro 10.0. Beyond '06 many new things can & I'm sure will happen. I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if we have one or two more new index classes for 2007.

I don't believe this series was ever intended to be a group of index classes and the barcket race should always be the main focus.

Maybe you missed this.

I also agree with John that you don't want this to be just indexes. Bracket or Sportsman racing is where it's at. But the addition of a few index classes will keep things interesting for all.

Bill, (supercoupe) this would be a good spot for you to run in. But stay on your toes because it looks like a tough field for the upcoming season.
Doug,

To many good drivers and fast cars for me. I would have to drive a lot better, have my car go on a diet, and raise the compression on my motor to hit 10.00 or just hook it up to the bottle. Then I'll need to start budgeting for breakage. Of course look at what it took to qualify for the pro eight last year, you never know unless you show.

Are you planning on going to SC?

Bill

You get an extra point if you sign up before the first race. That 1 extra point may be HUGE at the end of a close season. I'd sign up now.

Rick there is a deadline for this week to keep your raceway park number, (which helps me when I build my multi year database with car numbers)

Brian, yes the bonus point is given as long as long as you sign up before the first Event. however early signups help

as you mentioned, interest is one fo the them but not financial
Showing a list of drivers that have signed up show interest in he class, which in turn helps with validating its popularity which in turn can be used to help us obtain sponsorship for the class, which still does not exist.

So the earlier you sign up the better.

Everyone is sitting back sizing up people on the list figuring how difficult or easy it is going to be to get in.

Bill, make the changes and come on over. We won't all be on the oh from day one

Dave you just click on the link below, print and fill it out. In the section where you see Corvette Challenge and Pro 8 write in Pro 10.0 (same price) and sent that in.

Brackets (Corvette Challenge) run the same days so if you want to double up you can sign up for points for that too but you do not have to. Only required points signup is Pro 10.0. you can run brackets as a non-points racer.

robz, Dave Shen has signed up for Pro 10.0. He has a mid year that was mid tens a few years ago. Crashed at one of our race and has rebuilt it.
