Plans have changed a bit for the Super Chevy show...Stan's car went down today and can't be fixed by the weekend...since he was the "grill man", we won't be cooking out at the track this time... ...
We can still pit and hang out together...look for Marc's rig and my car...my cell is 386-956-0483 if you can't find us when you get there...
Looks like I'll be eating burgers, dogs and meatloaf for a long time since I bought a bunch of that stuff for the cookout...
I've been watching the weather closely...the bad news is a 60% chance of rain...BUT....the great news is it won't even hit a 50% chance till 5 PM and most of the day will be 20%...looks like we will get our time shots in and get home before anything hits..Woot!
Everything is ready for the cookout and I'll be up at 3AM and on the road at 4AM...three hour drive with a stop for coffee...see you soon...
p.s. Craig said he was going to run at Sunshine tonight...don't know of anyone who went to the test n tune today at BMP...
Yeah we froze our butts off today...yesterday was nice, 70 degrees but we had a 30 mph headwind...I was washing sand out of my eyes and ears for an hour at the motel last night...lol
Today everyone was running real good...the DA was darn close to 0, I heard...my car's best previously was 13.41...this morning I went 13.18 with a 1.79 short time...Woot!...unfortunately, I had a problem even on that run...my converter was locking up for a second at around 1000'...it shouldn't at WOT...oh well....
I was glad to hook everyone up with the BBQ in the pits...thanks to Marc for the chips and drinks, Craig and Kurt for bringing the grill and Stan for the extra dogs on Saturday...
Congrats to Marc and Robin for finishing in the money...Marc went out with a .001 red light in the semi's and Robin ran 11.77 on an 11.75 dial but his opponent put a .001 light on him for the holeshot win in the semi's...
Marc ran in the "slicks only" class and Robin in the DOT class...the funny part was you had to really search to find anyone running true street tires in the DOT class...all you saw was MT radials, Hoosiers, BFG's and ET Streets with some M&H's thrown in...lol

Sorry it was so cold. Glad you guys had fun. Did Mark make the 10's?
The weather sounds like a repeat performance of the First Lakeland CC.
I wanted to go but family & work always has a way of changing plans. I'll see you guys at the Lakeland CC. I can't make the Nat'l Challenge trip so good luck up there guys.

Super Chevy will be here May 19.
Marc had some really good chances to get the 10's...unfortunately he was off the gas or on the brakes to win the round so it didn't happen...I believe 11.07 was his lowest...
It was like the first LCC but even colder...some guy pitted next to us had this giant Dynasty motohome so we spent a lot of the time standing up against it to break the wind chill...we looked like a bunch of wallflowers at a dance...
Sorry you can't make the National but see you on March 11th at LMP...

30 deg here yesterday and I had to change my PCM. Like you said, wind blowing made it miserable.
I guess our team is down to three. It's gonna be tough. How's your Dad?
Thanks for asking. Not well again in Hospital. To compound problems my wifes dad is also in hospital & not doing well after Coranary bypass surgery. AND my sons GF's dad is in hospital with seizures from brain cancer. So I'm in a state of wait & see at any moment.
