Hey all,

I'm heading out to E-Town as we speak. Hope to see some of you there. I have a purple c4 for those that don't know.

Dave,

I'm leaving in a few minutes myself. I'll be in a black Z06. We should be okay today...winds will be out of the NW, 20-25 mph. Since the track faces S-SW, we'll have some wind at our backs....I'll take everything I can get.

track was pretty empty today...i got 6 runs in in a matter of 2 hours.

4.10s and the converter have so far done a best of 12.6@113 vs last years 12.79@111. i was cutting consistent 1.9's on the street tires except for the first run where i had a 2.41 spining through 2nd.

Overall everyone seemed to be running a few tenths slow today and complaining about traction.

Yep...it was almost like a track rental today. I think the track just needs some "curing" with some of the fast car rubber, and it will be just fine. I agree there was some spinning, but not as bad as I had expected. I looked for you to get you a donut, but I didn't see you around...maybe next time.

Dave it was nice to see you today. Your C4 is seet looking.

I was running 1.65 60s today, but only 11.5x for 1/4 at around 121 mph.

I was hoping for some better runs, but that is ok I never pushed more that 3K coming out.

Bob, there's a Wicked Weasel imposter running around here. This guy posted the other day that he didn't drag race anymore and I thought it was you.

Are you happy with the results today? Good Rt's and the car was running consistent. Considering you were running street tires.

You have got DR's right?

Bob - I'm buying et streets next weekend. My rt's weren't too bad, went -.039 and then mostly .1**. I know thats not good enough but its a start. The car wasn't tood bad, 13.5, 12.6's, 12.7's, 12.8...the tranny was a little weird and i was getting the dreaded 1/4 tank gas slosh on the 1-2 shift. I ripped all 1.9** 60's which was pretty good.

I was hoping to get more out of the car et wise but all in all it was a good day.

I think you need 3/4 tank of gas to be safe. I have the MT ET Street Radial and really like them. They only require a short burnout and I think they stick much better than my 315 BFG.

I was testing the new Rodney Transmission and making sure the clutch was fine for Limerock. I figure better to test legally then on the back street

(I do admit I had a blast)....

I am sure you are right. I know I have HPDEs conflicts with CC already so no points, but I will come to a few to show my support...
