Default Pro - 8 March 18

Who is going to show.

What do you think the cutoff will be?

I'll start - I'll be there.

Cutoff = 10.10

Could have a very fast field.

Ziajski
Major - old car
Ring - convertible
Carter
Conway
Maloney
Eckert - blue car
Valla
Shaw
Mitchell car?
Gorman car?
Romain? Will Mike be sufficiently on the mend?

Any others?

Alan , I wish , I tried to sit in a stock C5 ( no roll cage ) last weekend , not even close to bending my leg as far as I need to yet , I start PT this week , should be ready in a month or so . I'd be surprised if half the cars you listed are ready for the 18th , good luck and be careful , not a lot of rubber down at E-Town or Atco yet .

Sorry to hear that Mike. You've got a great set up. Sounds like you are on a program to get back to where you need to be - hope it goes well and is soon

Anybody else gonna say whether they are in or out

Ok I'll bite! Here are the rumors I heard.
Paulie Z yes
Allan yes
Angelo maybe
Shaw maybe
Bill maybe
No major wind
No Doug
No Carter
No conway
No Mitchell
No Stealth
No Gorman
No Insanity

My prediction is that Paul M. can qualify with the C6Z. Wouldn't that be interesting.
I'll say the bump spot is 11.16 and Edgar is in!

Marc's car is still apart since we stole his engine for a good customer
(hey, thats what he gets for leaving a fresh built engine laying around!)
Plus I have to finish his cage, so he'll be out for awhile.

Me on the other hand, listen to the rumers, there usually right.

Arrggghhhh, I hope your are not right. A strong indicator is you say I am the bump spot but I did NOT sign up for Pro 8 and don't really plan to but may have to

Doug - screw the customers and take one of the turbo tranny's for yourself! I'm dying to see a C5R run on this setup. Wait a minute - I have another idea.

I would be SHOCKED if you guys showed up. I mean, after you put out that "Who else isn't ready for the 18th" post I thought for sure you weren't coming

Nope. There was a slight possiblity I'd be there to run motor only and see if the bump spot was high enough but that doesn't look good. The weather isn't going to be good (cold and windy) so I think I'll leave this to the hearty and try for April 1st.

See you all at the banquet.

With such a dessimated field you should get in all motor and hopefully the weather will take a turn for the better.

I'm reconsidering but still dependent on the team getting the car back together. I have leaned that the motor and tranny are back in the car.

I still won't have the new hood and other body work done so I can't install the NOS system.

We'll see.

Rob - I think you will make the field unless some guys have been playing possum about showing up.

I think Mark ran no NOS last year in http://corvettechallenge.info/2005pro8-3.php and ran 11.229

Bill's Z is mostly stock and has run low 12s.
