Default E-Town Last Night

I decided to go to E-Town last night to get some seat time. Lots of cars, lots of cleanup too. There were a number of other corvettes also trying to get that seat time before Sat.

Looks like the Porta tree does help.....

Well I managed to get two runs in

9:19 PM 60 '

First pass
RT .067
60' 1.651
1/4 11.940

10:28 PM
Second pass
RT.020
1.635
1/4 11.920

Nice!

I was there along with PaulZ06.

Only got two runs in over 4 hours. The place was a zoo and I got no traction

First run in the right lane - car fished tailed before the sixty foot mark and I had to back off the throttle, got into it again - same result. Had to do it all the way down the track 11.9 at 90 something MPH.

Second run (after waiting for 3 consecutive oil downs). Same result, fish tailed, shifted into second - fishtailed, shifted into third then finally got into the throttle - 12.4 @ 119.

Drove it right back onto the trailer since the staging lanes were already closed. As I was loading up to go - somebody smacked the wall pretty hard. Driver OK but they had to put the car up on a trailer and then get the portable jet dryer out.

Got to see Mike Romain - looks like you are on the mend.

Should have listened to the posts talking about how much of a zoo etown is on Wednesdays before the summer hits.

Default I agree ... what a Zoo

It's my first Wed. at E-town I did get there kind of late but I guess I can say I'm satisfied with the lights an 60' I produced. I just need to make sure I can do this on Sat. Car could have been around 11.7s but we did have some headwind against us.

Those are good times considering how crappy E-Town was from what Dave and Julio told me.

I live 15min from E-Town, and I drive 1h 15min to Atco...

My Dad and I were there too.

We both had traction problems too. We got 4 runs each, but both of us had wheelspin on three out of four runs

It was a crazy night at e-town with two oildowns and a Camaro smacking the wall

the wednesday startegy is the same as Friday.

Get there early so you are first at the track. You will usally get two quick ones in before the crowds

Yep. That's exactly what I did.

I got two runs in by 7pm. And then I was silly enough to hang around until 10:30pm to get the other two!
