Ladies first
First time in history the top two qualifiers in Top Fuel are women .
Melanie Troxel and Hillary Will qualified 1-2 for the Bristol race today .
Women are slowly starting to take over in NHRA .
Now if Ashley Force takes me up on my offer to take her to dinner when she comes to E-town , I'll be in business 
. I'm trying to get my friend Ron Capps to hook me up with her .

I watched last nights TV event (I actually cheated before that and went to the web site, which gives all the data waaay in advance of the TV) and it was nice to see the ladies in first and second...Melanie ain't bad looking.
I also saw your post on Cory Mac's crash...nasty stuff,
but fortunately he came out no worse for wear.

YES Melanie looks good & Is a Great Driver ! I can't say enough good things about her...
However Hillery.... (being polite) needs some experience on the Tree... she is later than ME & I'm always LATE...
Again people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones... but IF it were MY team.. Hillary would not be driving until she could cut a light under
.100 ... yes I know its tough driving a TF... but if you cant play with the "Big Dogs" don't get off the porch....JMHO
Has she ever gone past 1st round... & how many has she lost on hole shots ??

) er, my daily driver is a standard; & my students often hear me say "let the clutch out!" when they don't/won't use right rudder...
JP guessed it right: HW lost on a holeshot 1st rd - her RT was .124 ... not that I'd do any better; she is getting more seat time - maybe there's a development 'plan' the rest of us aren't privy to, team goals, etc. (how'd she do - light wise - in the Top Alc. class? maybe the TF's react much quicker, & they're being more cautious?)
