There was a driver trying to get his NHRA license at the track in, what else, a '63 Vette.

Was he going for his ET competition licence or advanced ET/something faster? Seems like a lot of car to drive when you are just getting your license that lets you run quicker than 10.0.

I feel for the guy who let his friend borrow his race car. I'm sure the driver feels like dog pooh too.
A friend who builds chassis/cages in Florida, built a sweet eight second mustang for someone. He dialed in the chassis/motor and the very first pass the guy he built it for turns the steering wheel while the tires are in the air and hits the wall shortly after he set them down. Rookies! James
