Not sure if you want a serious answer or a there is humor in the questions.

Humorous answer:
Dude you have not gotten that car running in 7 months and you want a race every month? Hmm....

Serious Answer
It is every other Corvette Challenge. It is that way because every other non Pro 8 has a Pro 10. It was done that way intentionally to give owners of those cars time to recoupe from any issues.

How about evey month.....simple answer, show me the cars

Payout, nothing would please me more than to hand you guys $5K in cash for a win. So all it would take to do that is about $100K for a 10 race schedule.

I will keep me out for the check in the mail.

Lastly, 5 race dates a year leaves the schedule for you guys to race in other sanctioning bodies that do payout like NSCA and NMCA Fastest Street car, not to mention the Atco 8.50 class

It just seems like such a lllllloooooonnnnnnggggg time between races with the rainout being moved to November. Gonna go to the 10.0 at ATCO on Thursday. If I can dig up some 10.5" tires and am not working - I might run in the next 8.5 class just to get some more runs in. Miss the Corvette Challenge though.

You can do that now it call the barcket race, don't think that just because your car is fast you can't dial it in and cut a light.

I think they are doing that now, this series has great sponsors but I know frest money is always welcome.

So, the track keeps 50% of sponsorship money on top of season points sign-up and event entry fees? Seems steep to me. No wonder we only get a $100 payout.

It is not 50% Paul, I wish it was 50%

Ang, $250 is the minium buy in for the season but that does not get us much back to the driver. Need bigger funds. If each of the 20 drivers got us $500 each you would have a decent payout. Already explained we we cannot run Pro 8 at every challenge. I can 1 bracket class and one Pro class at a time.

Explain it better........Bottom line, is it every pro-8 driver ,or all corvette challenge drivers gets a 500.00 so called sponser , we are cool???? so lets do it... what if sponsers want to give ,EXAMPLE a 300.00 credit in machine work? OR a speed shop w/ 100.00 cert. how about a tire co....... REPEAT this is not a negitive response, WE SIMPLY MISS U and the racing

Angelo it is pretty simple.

Raceway Park sells sponsorship which is basically advertising. The minimum buy in is $250. Once a sponsor pays the minimum buy in, they can give the driver anything they want as far as credits or certificates.

Obiviously if the sponsor buys in more then we can get some of that back to the driver.

Anyone really intererested in sponsorship, let me know and we will put the sponsor in touch with Michelle

I need to sell it...they are not going to give it up that easy............. ''I '' or '' we'' , would need a package to show perspective sponsers what it is all about, some article in magazines...some news clips from racewaypark paper all about PRO-8,ect....ect....

I don't get it. Are you saying that if I give $1000 then $250 goes to the track and $750 to driver payout? Or does the track dip into that $750 as well? I think $250 for advertising is more than fair but I don't kow if I like the idea of further diluting the rest of the sponsor money.

No that is not exactly how it works. Each sponosr deal is looked at seperately. Obiviously you cannot put in less the higher levels and put out more...would not be right.

For example if you said you want to pay out $750 cash as a Supporting Sponsor you would likely not be allowed to do that. Of course someone must first say they want to give us that $1000 before we can work the deal

The reason why my car has not been to the track is because I am going with a whole new set up. What does that have to do with everybody else. Plus I 100% guarantee that if some of the rules were modified for a Heads Up PRO CLASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS- that we would see alot more vettes. I thought thats why you made a pro 10 class. It was only a wish relaxxxxxxxxx. This post wasnt put out there to start any sh--t it was simply to say, I wish there were more events.
