So were do you C5 guys put your switches like the line lock switch and fan switch? I've looked at a few spots just wondering were all put yours. Pics would be great if you have any.

Thanks
William

This is the best pic I have. I zip tied the line lock switch on the e-brake handle.

My line loc switch is on the dash, left of steering wheel. Sorry no pic avaialable. it is not the standard switch but a button switch. If you really want a pic, I can get someone to shoot one (I am away from the car)

That may be an option, I'll have to look for one for a manual trans.

I use a velcro strip to hold the line lock on the shifter and remove it when I'm not racing. I took out my ashtray and mounted the fan switches (hi & lo) on a little bracket in the hole. When I put the ashtray back it will cover the screw holes. There is enough space for the line lock button to fit it there and close the door for street duty.

You won't find one. That handle has to be retapped for our thread pattern.

Mine is left of the steering wheel also in the dash. Good position as it leaves your right hand free for the shifter. It is a button you push and the light comes on.

My transbrake is on my shifter at the bottom. That way if the car jerks my hand back I don't pull the shifter into the next gear. You have to do it open handed.

I really like the t-handle for the 6-speed cars. That is what I run. I don't have a c5 but the theory is the same. I use the linelock to load the suspension and keep the car from rolling through the beams once you are staged. It makes the release of the clutch shorter and loads the suspension like an automatic to save the parts in your driveline from the shock of dumping the clutch without one. I also think it is safer. I run the button on the t-handle in series with a toggle on the console( again, not c5) so you have to have both swithced to on before the linelock works. Just hook it up between the ground on the car to the toggle.

I found a good spot that doesn't require cutting any holes for the line lock.
