My wife called me while I was on my way home from the MOD SHOP , and said I would be excited when I got home. Oh yeah, the mod shop. Willyfastz is through w/ the engine detail on my car. It looks kick a**. He and I are going to RPM in Garner NC tomorrow for a tune. These are pics of the CCW DRAG PACK I received today. Will post pics of the engine bay tomorrow. This stuff is great. I get so excited, its a wonder my wife can tolerate it.
PS. It doesn't look like I'll make to Jackson, S.C. this weekend according to the track rules posted on the other thread concerning Carolina Challenge. Shopping for a roll cage now. I'm wondering when the wife is going to start wanting allot of new stuff. I've been racking up lately.
I had heard that CCW was going to discontinue the making of that set up (which would suck IMO for there IS still a market for it), is this true and how recently did you order that set?

You heard correctly. He will be coming out with a different size drag set-up. I don't know what style but he said the 16" skinnys will be going away in favor of another size.

Nice, hopefully something that will 1) fit the C6s without alteration and 2) be lighter than the current skinnies, those Firestones on 16x5s are not quite as light as the more traditional F-body (15x3.5 or 4) type skinny set ups.
Congrats. Your entusiasm is contageous!
You may know already but, I would start them at 11-12 cold and adjust from there. Also, the first 2 break in passes will not hook like normal. After that, hammer on them!
