I use them both front and rear... I run low 1.50's with a stick.

I have them all around. single adjustables.

They are not a miracle in a shock for 60' but their adjustability can help at certain tracks or on certain days at a track.

Loose fronts help get the front off the ground a little if you have the horsepower

I have them and they do help, but they are not drag shocks.

are you kidding me? 99% of NHRA Stockers use QA1's, I'd say they are drag shocks

I don't race but I put QA-1s all around on my '72. At the same time I replaced the steel leaf spring with a composite. The handling improved significantly! No more scary lane changes at highway speed and the twisty road up to my house is great fun.

just a 5 point swing out ... and a little suspension work soon nothing crazy , it's funny i told Leo that a full cage will never be in this car i want it to be a street car ... but i was quickly reminded by my wife that i said only 6 months ago that i would never put a 5 point in my cAR ...

A single adjustiable QA1 does not even come close to a 90/10 on the front.

They do now and I have a set from thunder racing (could not find thier site right this second@ the office...)

http://www.wolferacecraft.com/detail.aspx?ID=384

They are a 90/10 firm compresion, adjustable rebound. I will post up some results after T n T thursday I hope.

PS not trying to be a jerk, just trying to get the word out about a new product for us, heck I do not even know how new they are

They make double adjustable shocks now, so you can set them to whatever you want.

I've currently got singles on the car and love them. The softest setting is great for launching, but you need to go just a little stiff otherwise they're too loose at the other end of the track.

why would you want the fron of the car to stay up after the initial hit anyways? QA1's are far better than any 90/10

I would have to agree with this statement.....90/10's are "Old School" technology.....

But...QA1 makes their regular 12 way adjustables and they do also make a 90/10 adjustable(don't know if they do for the C5)......we use the regular 12 way shock on most of our stock suspension applications....

as always it is best to see what others are using(purpose of this thread) and to ask a suspension specialist what would be best for each combination.....
