Default Pro Tree

Any tips beyond go when the lights turn yellow? I was also thinking I should stage a little deeper than normal to cut down on my RT.

Yes stagging a little deeper will help.

I can cut a .01x light almost at will but have not been able to accomplish the same feat with the pro tree.

It takes a whole lot more focus at the line

A transbrake would help from what I understand and will be able to confirm that for you but not until next year as I will be getting one this winter

insert clip from Wayne's World "We're not worthy, we're not worthy, we suck!" I have seen your vids brother and I love the one n car when you cut a .001 and the anouncer is talking abut what you put in your coffee. Heck if it was that easy, we would all have the mystery IT in our coffee. You are the man!!!

That was a full tree not pro...

Pro is much tougher and I have stuggled. Improved from the beginning of the season but still struggling

I take its a PRO 500 tree.

Stage as deep as possible. In most events deep staging is not allowed but go in as deep as possible without turning the prestage light out. I can just turn the prestage light on, 4 small bumps then a big leap in.

Pump the front tires up as much as possible. 45 lbs.

Pump the back tires up as much a possible. As traction allows. I may go to 16lbs instead of the normal 13. QTP tires with screws.

Power brake as high of an RPM you can with out the car spinning the tires or slipping forward.

Cheat, 4 lights on count 1,2, 3 and go. Auto start usually goes off after 2 seconds.

I was amazed of how poor I was on a PRO 500 tree. You will see your true reaction times.

A trans brake will help.

Edgar, a trans break will help. I can't go higher than 2300RPM footbreaking but launch at 4000 on the t-brake. Its like dumping the clutch. I may be wrong but I think releasing a button is quicker than moving both feet. With the t-brake the gas is already on the floor on your foot is already off the brake. Let go of the button and you see sky.

I honestly can go RED on a .500 Pro tree.. and have done it on several occasions.. I stage DEEP, & give it 1 more bump... 1800 RPM... & I STARE AT THE BULBS as if they were Stacy Keebler .. you get the point...

Personally I do better on a .500 Pro tree than a Full tree... I'm more consistent,,

Your more consistent on a pro tree because you are going on your true reaction time. Reacting to the light. On a sportsman tree you are "anticipating" the light because you are distracted by the tree comming down.
