Indy raceway park. 85 degrees or so, and pretty humid.
My car is an 2004 auto with a cammed ls2. Rwhp= 415 TQ=400, 2800 Yank, 3:73's, tires Kuhmo street tires. The folks who knew what they were talking about said the track was very well prepped.
My best time slip was as following.
60' -1.927
330-5.239
1/8- 7.957
mph-89.80
1000-10.312
1/4-12.282
mph-114.30
while I was on street tires, I really didn't seem to spin much.
Not a bad slip with street tires. In fact with converter I would have expected more spin on street tires. With drag tires you could see 1.7s for the 60 and 11's for ET.
What's it like racing at the famed Indy track or is it O'Reilly Raceway Park now

O'Reilly.
It was great, you could tell it was a big time venue. I have nothing other then small time tracks to compare to, but I was very impressed.
I am not sure how much better tires would really help, I didn't spin much at all. Maybe 3-4 foot at the line, and 2-3 foot from 1st to 2nd, it was REAL sticky.
I would thought with a 1/8 mph of 90, that my trap 1/4 mph speed would be higher?
Do all those numbers seem to Jive, or does anything stand out, as being a weak link?
I really thought I could get under 12 secs.
I have bench raced this car in numerous bars, and it has always ran faster then 12.2

I see nothing glaringly wrong. Your chassis isn't working as well as my old Chevelle SS's. The best in that car was 12.21, only slightly quicker at 111, significantly faster. Your 114 mph shows a potential for 11s.
