Default Some notes & observations from our CC

OK Here's what I noticed... Chris broke his distributer.. WOW this is the First Time this yr I've seen him have mechanical problems... ("Kid" The Devil Made me Say That) sorry

Ralph.. whom I consider the WJ of the ECCC went out in the 1st round to Gary Hurta.... just FYI Gary has a new ZO6 and was on street tires.. it only his 3rd or 4th CC but Gary killed the tree .012 and ran 12.01 on an 11.98 dial.... Ralphie just ran up against a great package....

Also Sheila went I think least least 3 rounds maybe 4...Good or Her I know she took out some good racers.. (most are now... no more ducks in our series)

I managed to make it to the Semis... Got lucky and beat Joe Signore who had a .001 light.. I was in the teens on that run also.. my car was running the # all day...

Also I got some help from an (unnamed Pro Driver) while I was at the Keystones in Pa. last week, I did tell Bob Trishman the secret to my hitting the tree dead on all day....

Sorry but if I tell ya I'd have to kill you.. because I won't be able to make a final push to the Top Ten this year...

I ran (Haydinak..sp) & beat him & the best part was I didn't have to cut his tire to win.. last time we raced he got a flat 1/2 way down the track handing me the win with a Really Bad Light... yesterday I won fair & square

In the semi's I reverted to my old ways and stuck an ice pick in Gino's tire figuring I would need help to beat the kid.. he was HOT..HOT...HOT... Only problem the tire didn't leak fast enough, & he still put me on the trailer (Good race Gino)

As for (Mr. Bendix Breaks) I had wire cutters ready to cut his break line if he went another round.. but I just let some break fluid out of his system, & he rolled the beams and went -.002 RED because he did not have enough break fluid to hold his Easter Egg on the line ...

But Ol' Rob.. sure did open the points lead. over second place & almost has it locked up... unless of course I Decide to line up with HIM next race & remove his colorful personality & CAR from competition early...

Only if DT can handle the pressure & take advantage of the gift I'll give him... Sorry Rob... but This ain't NHRA and Redgar don't readjust the points going into the last 3 races

Debbi (Chris's wife) was happy to see me help tuning Chris's car this way it wouldn't turn over 3500 rpm & he couldn't put a rod through the block...

Another (inside secret) there is a little disharmony in the Panuzzo Racing Team.... it seems Ralph wanted to check his fuel pressure.. so I drove while he was looking at the FP gage..

As we were driving past the Transmission shop I thought I'd do a "LITTLE" hole shot..... I launched his car in 1st spun, then saw the shift light.. hit 2nd but it kept spinning (7000 RPM) for app 200'

Can you imagine Ralphie thinking I might had hurt his car.... Why he even hit the recall button on his playback Tach to see how high I revved the motor...

Shoot the valves never hit the hood so it couldn't have been that bad ...Ralphie is getting to be like me (An Old Man).. worry.. worry. worry... Hell he ran 11.07 yesterday through the mufflers... & I'm the one who drove when he checked the fuel pressure!!

Now with the "Kid" (Chris) I told him to drop the car off at my house & I'd have him in the 9s in 2 weeks... do you think he'd listen to the voice of experience....Nooooooooooooo so... we'll see if he can run quicker than my TFC (Top Fuel Corvette) in 2 weeks...

OK folks.. thats all for this weeks "Blog" I'm gonna be like the NHRA Pro drivers & start Blogging here to keep ya all up to date unless I get "threatening" E mails to stop

"Da Boss"

PS: JP - a got a tip for the weahter station in Real Street, the inconsistent readings are being caused by the mercury levels in my blood, to many clams I guess

Kinda makes me think you have a shadow writer.

Blog...that is high tech for you JP....

thanks for the laughs

PS, I think Gino's car is down to 22 lbs by now from that ice pick

Dude, did you just compare me to Warren Johnson? That might be one of the best compliments i've ever received THANKS

Unfortunately, i'm starting to drive like the old man too. So if you blinked yesterday, you missed me.........Gary Hurta put a hurt'n on me

Chris's car is getting there.......he just needs to get it to a Priest for an exercism Cause I'm convinced it's possessed. After running fine at Leb Valley and at his house....This week: first an exhaust leak freaks out the O2, then the firgg'n rotor falls off the distributor and finally a wire breaks inside the insulation of his air temp senor circuit.......ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!! You can't make this stuff up. Finally he got one half way decent pass. I think we have another tenth or two in there, but it would be nice if his computer would talk to us. Apparently it wants us to tune blindly Where's that Priest.

Well for team Panuzzo, at least da Boss had a good day But John, if you can plant corn in the space between you and your opponent....HIT THE BRAKES!!!!

Now I know why the brake pedal felt like a wet sponge.

It seems that I get to certain round and I just fall off.

Good job to everyone Saturday.
