Last day at E-Town....
I was paired in Round one eliminations in the top 16 invitational against Devon Bole the 2006 Rookie of the year. As the lights came down and I launched the car spun hard and could not catch Devon. Looking at the time slip I saw that my 60' went from a 1.66 to 1.937, and my ET for this run 12.379 on an 11.83 dial. It was all over for me as far as winning the 1K. I'll try again next year.
In the Trophy Marathon I went 6 rounds and made it to the finals for the King of the Hill, the same fate that put me out in the first round elimination in the top 16 would come back to ruin my chance to capture my second gold sticker as I spun hard again. I ran the car hard and then lifted at the end thinking I would breakout and it cost me. After making this comment to Edgar, I felt like an Idiot as he stated to me what made me think I would break out if I knew I spun hard? Oh well, another hard lesson learned.
Oh! let me also mention that a certain person managed to line up against me during round 3 of the Trophy Marathon, he was like Sneaky Pete. I know it was no coincidence that we just happened to be paired up. You know this person to be very calculating....anyway he looked at me smiled and shook his head up in down as to say he is taking me out. I turned and stuck my left had out the window, thumb down indicating that he would be going down.
After it was over the Boogieman has evened the score......
I asked what happened? I will let him respond to that....Its nice to be a part of this series, best wishes to all the racers, all the individuals who behind the scenes make it all happen. CCDV Racing, and the wife for supporting me and baring the heat in the summer time.
Congratulations winners....
See you guys at the Banquet or in Feb 2007
Da Boogieman

You can still hire me.
But I am not CHEAP!

Uhmmmm.... Its been quite some time and no response from the guy driving the red car

Just remember...you can have the three months to get your ride to run a number you feel will give you a shot at the sled but I certainly don't need my ego "stroked" and will not lose when you decide to race heads-up like your original challenge.

As for three months to get my car ready, I am not making any changes to my car. You're the one making the changes to your car in order to make sure you can take me out. I ran you without spraying the car this time and took you out....Heads up? No problem bring it....
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Bill if we set something up for Richmond, I might as well take one off the car count cause Jerry won't show.
Got a call from MTV today. They wanted to know what I was doing and to tell me they owned "Punked" not me!
