Rob 11.50 would be .500 tree. the deal is Payout is important there so we sould not do a class for less than $500 to win minimum. In order to do $500 to win we need to be sure of getting minimum 12 entrants to have someothing to go to the runner up.
Over the years of doing this, I have seen about 80% of those in or likely become reality. So really we are looking for 14 hard entries. So far Ellis, clemsondave, Rich Shuleski and I think one other than you said they would do it. Mackey said he would do it I think mostly to support having the class. Steve and I said we would do it for the same reason. If I did not have to, I would not as my hands are full and running two classes is tough without having my hands full. I think Steve would do it for the same reason.
So we are still only looking at 6 or 7 cars Now if I can get a sponsor to foot most, if not all of the payout, then we will go with the class. So if anyone has a lead on someone how might sponsorm for say $500 an 11.50 class that is having trouble building momentum, then we can get it on.
Had another fun day at the Atco , I just got home , went racing this morning , left around 2pm , then had to drive to Pennsylvania , got caught in a huge traffic jam on the way home on the NJ Turnpike , but all in all , it was a great end to my season , ran consistent 9.6's at 145 , took some in-car video , and hung out with a group of Corvette Challenge regulars . See you guys next year , and Happy , Safe , Holidays to all of you .
