Some shots of the cage going in my green car at Vanishing Point. They will have it done by the end of January as a rolling chassis. Then back to ECS for the powerplant install. I actually think this will go down the track in 2007.
When do you think it will be ready to hit the track?
Not sure. The turbo system (turbo placement,ducting/intercooler etc.) is already fabricated & fitted, and the motor is just about built. It will be in the capable hands of Mr. Ring to finish.
BTW - thanks for the words of encouragement during the down times.
ECS is doing the hole moter "moter, tubeing, computer, tune" or subbing it out???
Gonna be tight getting in and out. If i was you ,i would start a diet
Good luck with it, i'm sure its gonna rock
All the turbo fab work was done by Bob Kasper who is a sub to ECS. Motor was built by ECS with some input from Jesel. Engine management will be Bigstuff. Up to Doug to decide on the tune - whether to bring in someone or not.

I dont know if we will make the first challenge, but as soon as it gets back we will be on it. I have all the parts except some minor stuff I'm sure I forgot.
It is going together with the engine we built 2-2.5 years ago now for it, and I have to work through the learning curve of BS or Gen7, we have both so I'm deciding which one to use. We will be doing the tuning etc as we always have so I will have my hands full next season.
We are not planning on coming out running crazy numbers just yet, we will get our feet wet and work into it safely, but at least the car can grow as much as we want without any major changes. That should make it easier to get used to each combo as the progression of surpassing you transpires.
Good luck next season Paul, I hear your really going to step it as usual and run several events, hopefully you still make it to the pro 8's even though you will have to run at half boost to not get disqualified.

Best motivaton yet to drop some lbs.

Spring can't get here soon enough
Don't know yet about the Nationals,if iget the bugs out of motor-- 50% chance. Lots of variables involved .I might just go an watch.
When is GREEN do out?? date???
I will be FIELD FILLER this year, at least the 1st half of the season ( i hope)
I just like to cruise around town in a STREET ROD. I wonder if my new speakers are in

Sounds like you have first hand experience with this.
Mike, I cant put a date on the completion because this is obviously farther than we normally go so there are variables that I cannot nail down from doing it everyday. I will say the major hold up this car went through was not because of us or vanishing point so it wont sit idleing for long, we are supposed to get it back here at the end of the month maybe.
No speakers to worry about in this car, but Alan has the blue car for that. Thats getting a little make over as well, nothing crazy, but maybe a good runner for your car.
