Well, that video is a little bit larger than 3.3 mb
your video is good Olivier. You have a couple advantages thou. Position on the starting line, sunlight and no need to put up 2000 clips so no server issues.
Additionally, I have experimented with some mov stuff and while most can view them, not all visitors have the software to view them so I try to stay with .wmv

anybody with a PC only needs to download Quicktime and .mov will work..It's that easy.. However, not everyone has a 5+ MBPS connection to download a 16+ MB video..Luckily, I won't run into problems with my server space.. Got 200 GB available and only used like 50 mb so far
.wmv will only work on PC's and not on Macs but .mov will work on both..
hate to do all the work and then find out some people cannot handle the 856 width video
The 856 looks great here. I have a 17 inch LCD with 1024x768 resolution. I think my setup is pretty standard and the footage looked awesome.
I guess for me the question would be what file size is too big for the average users? The 3.3 meg file was fine for me, but I'm sitting on a 10 meg pipe.
Is what Olivier saying correct that .wmv cannot be viewed on a mac? I had not heard that before.
Anybody using a mac can tell me if they cannot view our videos?
Olivier I played around some h.264 codec stuff and was real happy with it but was concerned about the use of quicktime...yes it is a download but not a lot of folks have and then it tries to associate itself with other stuff and that makes it all crazy. For a power user that is not a problem but not all of us are power users
Bigger the better I say, but I do realize you have to host millions of videos(as time goes on, we will hit that mark I'm sure), so you would probably have to go with something in the medium range.
