Default QA1 Settings?

C5 m6 w/ CCW drag package, ran 7.10 week before last in the 1/8 w/ 1.60 60' times. The car was spinning, so we put QA1's on this week. Through the advice of QA1 I put C series on the back and dual adjustables on the front. I would greatly appreciate help from someone w/ a similar set up. What be a good place to start with the settings for street use and the drag strip. I did a search but didn't come up w/ much.

C5, mn6 with 4.10 gears and MT ETStreets (26 x 10.5) on CCW drag pack.
I was running 2 in the front and 10 in the rear in this shot with 425 RWHP. As you can see, very little squat in the rear (I have stock suspension height) and good lift in front (tires just barely off the ground). I think I will try to go a 5-6 in the front this year to see if it makes much difference.

Street use- I put both front and rear at around 4-5.

Thanks for the information. This should get me started. Do you have the C series on front and back?

I love that pic HawkI

Could you please let me know a little more about you car's dragstrip performance? (Launch rpm, do you dump the clutch or slip it, 60', 1/8 mile ET & mph, 1/4 mile ET and mph)

Thanks,
Rob

**Correction** I have single adjustables on front and back, which I believe are the "C" series.

Thanks,

Well, just put a Heads and Cam in last fall and only ran it one time (this pic) at the 1/4 mile. It was a muscle car day at Rock Falls, Wisconsin. Only got to have 3 time trials and then ran 3 runs in eliminations. Was index racing.
Three time trials were:
ET MPH ( 60' , 1/8)
12.199 @ 116.75 (1.677 , 7.760) left lane
12.000 @ 120.04 (1.681, 7.782) right lane
12.230 @ 120.19 ( 1,795 , 8.004) left lane

Had to go with 12.00- 12.499 Index
Elims.
Dial 12.00
12.383 @ 102.37 (1.690, 7.647) cut a good light (0.090) and had a jump on oppenent so had to brake at the end (or I thought i did).
12.164 @ 116.59 (1.790, 7.936) had to play catch up here as just reversed from last run, I had bad reaction time (0.167)
12.306 @ 118.98 (1.729, 7.990) Missed shift 2-3 and lost to a 12.017

1/8 mile track (my local track, Humboldt, IA)
Only one time after Heads and Cam, but several runs
ET MPH (60')
7.502 @ 92.98 (1.689)
7.699 @ 91.65 (1.740)
7.829 @ 91.83 (1.707)
7.852 @ 88.23 (1.720)
7.748 @ 89.46 (1.661)
7.803 @ 89.63 (1.722)
8.081 @ 88.23 (1.848)

I launch at 3500-4000 rpm and drop the clutch. Have had no problem when I had the stock clutch, but replaced it last year (May) with a SPEC 3. Had to baby it to break it in for most of the spring, but when she was ready, just let her go. Then added the H/C in late August. Had a whole lotta fun in Sept. (even though I was only at the track these 2 times. A whole different expeirence. Was 345 RWHP, now 425 RWHP.
