Good Luck Bob to you and John. I would go to watch but I am going to E-Town to pratice. Have you been watching the weather? Friday looks So-So, But Saturday will be a great day.
They picked 9.30 to 9.50 cars... Everyone is saying that the index was picked even before anyone qualified...They are saying the class was build around one off Landy's cars... Anyway a ATCO 8.50 index racer John Razzler (RAZZ) won the entire thing...

The rumors are true. We had one of the camera crew staying at our motel and since the taping got rained out Saturday evening they decided to run it on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. we shared a few cold adult beverages Sat. night at the motel and he did spill the beans.
Actually two of the cars in the runoff were predetermined. It was supposed to be the Landy Performance Camaro against the Dot Net Boyz Mustang. A rematch from one of last years races.
Oh well so much for a True Pinks All Out. But we had a great time. Great people, great track and staff.
By the way my son John's car broke a camshaft sensor. So he only made one run. 10.88 @ 121 getting out of it at 1000'. He knew something was wrong so he shut it down.
Time for a Dart Little M block with a turbo.
Well that's racing. See all of you at the next ECSCC.

Guys you must remember it TV, you have to create a story line to keep viewer interest. I said when Pinks first went on it was the WWE of auto racing. If I were running it I'd be promoting the same thing.
Gee, on a local level, I could do Jpee and Rob ???
I was there with my 67 Chevelle (10.20's - all metal - all motor!). I think pretty much everyone had a "feeling" that it was going to be the 9 second group. Little things, like the announcer repeatedly saying....."Rich sure likes those 9 second cars." They recognized my car and about 15 others for "going all out" and gave us an extra pass. (Most likely to keep the track warm!!!! ) It was kind of a good feeling though! Who knows maybe we'll get a blip on tv!
All in all the event was a blast. Maple Grove is one hell of a professionally run track! I was impressed at how smooth things went! Lots of nice cars. Lots of fast cars!
My Dad made a license plate for us that said Pinks All Out over laid on a "$10,000" bill. One of the Pinks guys (Ken) was walking around and saw it. He loved it!!! We were talking with him and he went and got the camera crew to come and film it!!!

Just like the other Pinks show...when I found out way back on the second episode that no titles were actually changing hands a lot of folks did not believe it...even though it came from two different folks who ran and won on the show...like someone said, the truth is it's show biz and all about ratings...if you don't like fixed or rigged outcomes then don't watch it...I like the show for entertainment value...if you are looking for more than that you will be dissapointed eventually...
