Disappointed...
Temp was about 100 degrees; 7% humidity; 29.60 barometer; 21 degree dew point. Works out to about 5600' DA.
I was having alot of problems hooking up. Tried feathering the clutch from 2000-2500 rpm's, then from about 1500 rpm's, but still spun alot. I did practice my powershifting from 2nd-3rd & 3rd-4th. However, I think in the future, I'll just shift normally from 2nd-3rd, as the rearend was wanting to break loose. I didn't lower tire pressure any and am running on Toyo TR1's (stock rims). My car is otherwise a bone stock 2003 ZO6.
Best run for me (60' owns my ***).
RT: .940
60': 2.379
330': 6.179
1/8: 9.144
mph: 83.75
1000': 11.644
1/4: 13.754
mph: 106.90
Strange thing was I had another run where I completely missed 4th and just coasted across in 3rd. This was the time I got...
RT: 1.776 (forgot to put car in gear and was in neutral at green light)
60': 2.348
330': 6.118
1/8: 9.076
mph: 84.16
1000': 11.570
1/4: 13.865
mph: 93.94
Any tips, suggestions, criticisms? Any guesses what the 2nd run I listed might have yielded if I actually shifted into 4th, based on the other numbers?
