I am looking to order a Racing jacket for a friend of mine, but i need to know what safety rating the NHRA requires, he needs it due to his nitrous bottle beeing inside the cabin with him, and its a 10 second car, thank you!

He needs it because it is a 10 second car. As long as the car has the full factory firewall, a SFI spec 3.2A/1 jacket is good down to 10.00, with or without nitrous.

5 pt cage - jacket - helmet - safety blow off hose outside of the car
3.2A/5 jacket,pants, collar,gloves,shoes,if he hits 135 mph ask me how I know
Check with the track tech inspector ,everyone seems to play their owne
game. The rules may say this or that but the track can change them.
I blew through at 137.40 and not only do I need the 3.2A/5 jacket and pants but you have to qualify for your license and the new track Ahole decided that once you are licensing you can't run the car until you have your license.
