Default Drag racing shocks

What would be the best shocks to eliminate wheel hopping in my 2006/Z51/6sp/460RWHP(CARTEK H/C package plus other goodies)/4.10's with BFG 315/30/18 drag radials? I currently have Bilsteins, but they are useless with my car. DTE recommends the adjustable PFADT coil overs. I'm planning on running MT ET's bis ply in the near future.
My best time in the 1/8 last week was a 7.70 with the car spinning all through first gear and slight wheel hop all through 2nd gear. Need suggestions.

Not a stick car here but I have always heard coilover will help alleviate the wheel hop issue stick shift cars experience. Hang out for some M6 drivers input. You might also try searching the archive on wheelhop to see if you get a quicker answer as it has been discussed

When I ran mine, I used QA shocks on the rear, I know a couple guys with 06 Z's and they say that QA's are the way to go for wheel hop.

Also the bias ply tire will help..

I just called QA after reviewing their site. The fellow said that all the tech guys are off today and to check back Monday. They offer so many different shocks, so I would like to know what style your friends would recommend.

I've run the QA single adjustable shocks on the rear
for a couple of years and they've worked well.
Start with a #5 setting with your proposed tire
selection. Try around 12 psi and see how they handle.
Maybe drop a 1/2 psi at a time and stop when
it feels unstable toward the end of the run.
Then add 1/2 psi and see if you're comfortable.

Try MT et street biad ply out back first I have the same RWHP as you and when I went to 390s out back, I had the same issues with wheel hop. After the bias play, I am hooked most of the time, and for the most part, the hop is gone.

This is with DTE brace, side cover and shafts, ZIP 390, RPM stage V M12 and mid 1.4 60s. Good luck man!

+1 this is what I would have done.
9 of 10 times the tires will kill the hop.
