Hello Dennis yes its me Ill have to find some 17's if it will be better for me. what rim width should I look for and do you still have a friend who deals in tires ? if so could you pm me his info I cant find it anywhere.
the reason for looking for the 18's where these tires are going to have to do double duty for now I need new rears so I figured kill two birds with one stone but if i could find some 17's for the right price I'll do that instead. thanks for the help.

Phil

PS I got her down in the 12.6's now but still on street tires and practiceing
OH and yes its an auto

thats a great time phil if you dont want to change for the track just go with the 275x35x18. i dont know the width of your rims or tire hight. but if your rims are at least 9.5 go with the one thats closest to the stock hight. the 295x35x18 is taller and wider so thats why you need at least a 9.5 rim

The 295x35x18 is actually shorter than the stock 275x40x18 tire (26.2 vs. 26.7 or 26.8) James

thanks James! i dont know about the c5 sizes i run the 295 35 18 on mine. i dont know the rim width so thats why i said the 275 35 18 because it takes a narrower rim but that tire is also shorter its in the
25s
