Default C6 Vs TBSS

So I saw a thread about one of the guys on here with a trash talking buddy with a TBSS. There were a lot of mixed responses. I have two small kids, two bran new SUV's, and the wife just won't let me buy a vet until the kids are older. That being said, my toy is an SS Trailblazer. Here is one of my posts from the TBSS forums.

I just found it funny that a lot of folks wont acknowledge what the trailblzers are capable of running. There are guys running 10's and 11's in the quarter in these "soccer mom trucks" as some of you put it. Just because you guys drive vets doesn't mean you have the only fast cars on the road. I have respect for anything that is fast. It takes a lot to make things fast. It takes money and smarts. I just think you have to respect that. Did any of you guys know the suspension in the back is 5 link, or that the suspension was actually tuned on the track at nureinberg? These things have 4.10 gears and hook like a champ. I love vets, they are great pieces of modern engineering. It just isn't so far fetched that an SUV can run with a vet. There are faster TBSS's than mine out there and I have yet to loose to a vet.

Here are a few pics of mine in case you are curious.

Did we miss something? Did someone go over and pee in your pool? Send him back, we'll straighten him out.

But honestly, it sounds like someone needs to get his pride in check, not to mention his wife. Good luck with that.

A stock SS trailblazer will not run with a vette...what's your point?

You put a maggie on it...I'm sure you could run with one now. Good work.

The TBSS is one nice rig, and one of the few that the GM Performance Division had a hand in. I only wish that GM would drop an LS3 (6-speed auto), into the TBSS...now that would be the proverbial icing on an otherwise 3 layer cake.
