I have a room mate with an 86 mustang GT with 3.73 gears, short throw shifter, underdrive pullys, Headers, and off road H pipe. The car stock has 200hp and now is probly pushing 250 same as mine but doesn't toch my torque
I have a 1974 L-82 with 250hp & 280 ft torque, a K&n air filter, shift kit, 3.55 gears, and gymkhana suspension. Pleas be honest who would win if I had my car with me at college and could put it to the test.

I doubt his car gained 50hp from those mods.
I had a 1991 Mustang LX w/ close to 300HP & it ran 12.8-12.9. I used to beat most Vettes back then on the street mainly because they couldn't drive their cars... What does your car run?
As an aside, if either one of you are a superior driver to the other it could go either way.

If the 73 L82 that runs 15.1 is WELL driven, I'd say if your friend can drive then you'll have trouble taking him.
BUT, there's only one way to know for sure!!
Let us know how it plays out. If you can't get your car to him, then maybe you can each go to a local track & compare your best time slips & have the race on paper.
