Thanks all for the compliments! It was indeed a loooong day, probably one of the longest days ever for a CC. I didn’t fare too well in the CC bracket (I got pummeled by Chaase), but was fortunate enough to win the EFI Radial Tire 1 bracket in addition to winning the 11.5 Index. What a great day, with great competitors and great organizers! Even though the track was EXTREMELY busy with too many cars, things still went off very smoothly with very little downtime due to breakage.

Thanks Edgar, your comments mean a lot to me. I do indeed love Index racing and especially love the Pro-Tree. But none of this would have happened without you and Farley promoting and organizing these events, so my hats off to you.
Also one other bonus was that there was a $100 payout for 1st place and $50 for 2nd! How cool is that!
I'm looking for to running this class next year, whether it's an 8 car field or 16, count me in!
Congrats again Eric (or is it Erik? LOL ) on the wins, you are good bro.
And congrats to Dennis (in the blue C6) for a really fast bolt ons only car and for making it all the way to the end even after being out of the racing game for so long.

I will have the article up soon with all the details. I took a lot of video. I figure a few hours to get done. I told everyone that raced in the 11.50 to E-mail with there e-mail address so I can send them videos of there runs.
Yes you made me look good. I have my fingers crossed that the track will have this class added to there 08 schedule.
I spoke to everyone in the lanes asking them if they would race this event in 2008 based on a 8 car field. Most of all the drivers said that will run this event but they would like to see a 16 car field. At the end of the night everyone had a smile on there face, Even the loosers. Everyone had a great time.
It was a long day for all. I left the track at 11:08pm. We had a much later start then expected. This did cause some discouragement from some drivers. I am sorry for that but I had no control over it.
Some info before I write the article. We did have a 16 car field for 1st round. We did loose four Vettes before 1st round, We lost 1 Vette after the 1st qualifier and we lost 1 Vette after the second qualifier. I am extemely happy with the turn out. Everyone came out to support the series. From speaking to the drivers they came from as far as Maryland.
More to come later. I need to still wake up and have a coffee.
