Last Friday I ran in the Fords vs the World race at E-town. The air was pretty good, the DA was around -600. My times were off of what I thought my car should be running. After I got home I realized why they were off. I had about 125lbs in my car that I don't usually have when I race.
The question is----How much did that 125lbs slow me down?

Can you share the expected ET's and the actual ET's ?
Does the 100 lbs for .10 in ET change depending on how fast a car is ?
I think 100 lbs in a 14 second car will slow it down more than .10.

Every car is a little different but 100lbs for .10et is pretty close. I found it true in a 16 second Cobalt, 13.50 LS1 Ragtop Vette, a high 14 second LT1 Firebird vert, high 11 second Formula and my friends low 10 second Nova, and 12.0 Chevelle. Pretty deverse group of cars.
..... when I was still driving my Z28 to the track, jacking it up & dropping the pipes, we had a day where it looked-like rain:
I doubted we even get on the track, so I left a pair of tool-boxes (loaded to the gills ), a small floor-jack, jack-stands, etc. in the trunk.....
when we finally got called to the lanes,
the car ran about 3/tenths slower than usual, probably split between the extra weight, and the full-exhaust (true-duals/no-catalytic converter ):
use that for what it's worth.
Did your car run it's usual MPH, and is it possible that the air-temp was so-cold that the track had no 'bite' in your instance (i.e. - no heat built into the track ), or that the above-mentioned head-wind slowed yuo down?
Look at that day's incrementals versus prior day's splits to try figuring-out if/where/why the car ran slower than expected.

MPH was about .65 off
Hooked good on the run, the tire spin was on the previous run. Lowered the tire pressure to compensate.
No head wind, a slight cross wind

60'- .072 off
330'- .028 off
1/8- .183 off
1000'- .240 off
1/4- .266 off
It seemed to run slower across the board.
I hope it was just the extra wieght.
I'll find out Sunday. The weather is looking good, the car will empty, and there will be plenty of ricers to kill.
