Cartek Racing had a very good day at the track today, another C5 (and another supercharged one at that) in the 9s, yet another naturally aspirated GTO heads and cam car (an LS1 5.7L no less) in the 10s and a mere C6 bolt on car running with stock C6 Z06s.
Yes, Cartek is still making great things happen.
It's true, I was considering going and then I read that thread and saw that others might be there as well (and I of course read the weather charts as well LOL) and it helped me decide.

Sorry I did not catch up with you. My car was in for some minor bodywork. (Something kicked up from the road and caused a small crack the the quarter panel and bumper.
) I was to have it back by Wednesday. When I called it was not ready, but I was told I could pick it up on Saturday between 9:00 and 2:00. So my wife, one of my children, and I drove 50 minutes to the shop. 
The owner was spraying it when I arrived and he informed me that I could come back when he calls around 2:00.
Needless to say, this KILLED my plans to see you guys.
