Default Adjusting harness

Ordered an Impact Racing 6 pt harness. Beautiful belts! However, I can't seem to get it adjusted properly. C5Z with 6pt roll bar and BK lap adaptor.

Where is the cam supposed to be positioned?

With the shoulder straps fully extended, the cam is at my belly button. However, the pull down buckle is digging into my shoulders. I have the stock Z seats which do not have the pass through. I've seen others without the pass through work, but I didn't notice what belts they were using.

The lap belt is waaay to long. With it fully tight and the cam in my lap, there is 8'+ of slack. If I keep the cam at my belly button, it is better. I'm 5'10" 175.

Their should be another buckle where you bolt the belt to the cross bar take the belt apart and take up some slack.I have my buckle release just below my chest.I used a drummel tool and cut slots in the back of the seat,I fed the belt throught the seat slots I cut.
I would re adjust the lap belt and take the extra and push it under the seat.I never unlach my right sholder buckle.Your leg belts should be snugg and the sholder straps real tight ,I have my lap belt fairly lose.
I like the five point belt it gives ya blue ***** when you crash .NOTA

As for the cam itself, from my understanding is the belly button is too low. I was told it should by higher up like 6 - 8 inches above the BB

If that's the case, then I think I'm good. You'd think that info would be in the box or on one of the manufacturer's website.

The shoulder straps wrap around the bar (no bolt).

Thanks
