Did'nt even get one run in before we ran into problems. Did my burnout in second gear, put it into first to roll up to the line and it did'nt respond. Thought maybe I was stuck between gears. Had to back out and drive down the return lane. Turns out my drivers side wheel did'nt turn during burnout. Figure problem is either with clutch or rear end, and after preliminary inspection it appears to be rearend. Had to limp home barely able to go 35 mph.
Also turns out I have an oil leak from the front timing chain seal.
Time to open the checkbook! Will miss next weeks race at ATCO, hope to make first Corvette Challenge.
Well, I guess I can switch to those 4:11s my dad has been pushing for, for some time. Just so frustrating, as I have been counting down the days to get out there and race, and to test some of the changes we have made.

It was a loooooonnnng day! Lots of oil downs, and one driver went into the sand and into the safety net (in a late model stock Caddy no less ). And being that the track surface was brand new, there was no rubber on it and it was like a skating rink. Towards the end of the day though the track started to hook.
