Default DTE rear diff

I just received my Stage 5 rear diff today from Dynotech
Engineering - Ft. Wayne, IN. www.dynotech-eng.com Included
was an instruction sheet with advice and precations that
apply to all IRS Corvette owners who are racing at the dragstrip.

1) Avoid "wheel hop". It's a very destructive force that can break
any driveline component. It may cause the case or side covers
to crack leading to catastrophic failure. If your car experiences
this under hard acceleration, LET OFF!

2) Avoid "standing" on the brakes to do a burnout. Side-to-side
wheel speeds may be drastically different due to uneven brake clamping.
This can cause severe clutch pack overheating.
Consider installing a "line lock" or "roll control" in your car.

See their website for more information.

Yup, sounds about right, and that sucks about the clutch pack, didn't think about that oe; but just another reason to ditch the auburn.
You can still break them, but you have a higher safety factor and better piece of mind.

What ratio did you go with? You get a brace as well?

I've been using the 3:90 ratio.
Also use their brace.
