Torque Mangement
My tune was developed on a Z06 STock Tune. Turns out, the z06 actually has a more agressive Torque Management scheme than the C5. As I scan and tweak with HPTuner, I have found 2 area's which you should look at. One is the TPS vs MAP vs Torque table, and more interesting is the Injector Hop disable table. This table actually shots off injectors depending on the severity (modes 1-8) of hop (haven't figured out the modes, but I understand Torque plays into it) will actually shut off injectors (255 vs 119) to reduce power.
Now, if I am not mistaken, even turning off the traction control on the Z06 doesn't disable that function. I do know that by turning off the Traction control, I did get rid of the TP closing briefly as the acceleration ramped up in my launch. Not sure about the Injector scenario though.
Maybe someone with more experience could chime in on this subject, because I am still not sure of all the facts, or even if it is an issue......enquiring minds want to know

Question #2) Tune only car does not equal stock anymore.
Question #3) Improvement in ET is based on the driver's experience & abilities mainly....
TM is there to help prevent you from breaking drivetrain parts. It also helps reduce wheelspin. Fot the C6Z, at first TM was thought to hurt times, but after much research & logging, member Dgdoc has shown it to HELP reduce ET...
