QA1 Double Adjustable Front Drag Shocks
Just getting ready to put a set of QA1 Double Adjustable front shocks on the red MTI Developmental Vehicle. Finally taking off the old Camaro 90/10 shocks that MTI modified 5 years ago. Slow motion video of launches early tis year indicate the front end coming off the ground too quickly and higher than last year. It appears we need to limit the lift to try to stabilize the launch. Its a 10 second car and we're still pulling 1.38 short times. We actually hope to improve on those with more even a launch. Anybody using these shocks and be willing to share your settings to give us a start point? We will be testing this Saturday at Silver Dollar in Open Comp and then be heading to Bradenton, Florida March 28 thru 30 for the NMCA series running in open comp.
