Barely made it into the 9's with a 9.97 run.. but it was good enough.. It was hot, humid (2500 DA) and I had a 15 mph head wind.. Something on the tune seems wrong.. Will try to work it out before the National Race... I have no more scheduled races before that event, so I'm 99.9% in!!

I have to send in my paperwork.. It is complete now and they should be able to fax me a temporary license shortly.. I have all the signoffs (including track manager) and I just need to send everything in..
Congratulations
How is the car from the accident? Did they get it sorted out?
Got the car fixed 3 weks ago.. All new steering components, new wheel, new lower a-arm (old one was bent) and I aso had to have a lower a-arm bracket bent and the car needed to go on a frame machine to fix the bracket.. $1200 later, I was back in business.. Car ran straight without a problem..

That's what I was looking for, to see how it launched after tweaking the frame. Good deal, glad it worked out.

The bent bracket probably wouldn't have been a major issue if I wouldn't have had it fixed but considering how fast I'm going, I think that it's better to be safe than sorry.. The bracket was only off by 1/4 inch but I wanted to make sure that I had no issues..
Oliver I see you made it back from Hawaii.I guess you took the bridge home with all the airlines going broke . I know the tunnel was full of water!
Now you need to send your paper work Fed-X so you have a record that NHRA got it.SPEND THE MONEY SQUEEKY!!! TO MAKE SURE THEY GET IT.
Now send the wife to pick up the time slips from now on !!!
All you need to DO is drive the car!!!

Well, we were lucky with the flight back.. I had a US Airways flight from Kona to Phoenix and then 2 American Flights from Phoenix to Dallas and Dallas to Tampa.. Both American flights were cancelled..
We ended up getting re-routed with US Airways from Phoenix to Vegas and from Vegas to Tampa.. We got home just before midnight on Wednesday.. We were scheduled to arrive at 5 PM, so we were 7 hours late.. Well, better than not arriving at all on the same day.. We were lucky.. I will send out my paperwork on Monday with FedEx and will call them soon to fax me a temporary license..
