lifter collapsed, engine is gone
Just got the call. Lifter collapsed and got stuck in the bore hole (my ignorance is showing, I have no idea what that is). Several valves are bent, pistons are nicked, timing chain is shot, cam is suspect AND the block is gone
So, looks like a new short block for my C6.

Insurance guys spoke with Rog this afternoon, then me. Decision tomorrow. Rog and I already started the discussion about the size of the replacement block. No comeback on your last statement. BTW, what was the last ET/MPH your NOZ fed vette did?????

I chose not to get my time slip. 
I can tell you two things. 
1st the car ran an unreal top speed of a whopping 8MPH for the ENTIRE 1/4 mile.
2nd Some little bastard kid was walking in the pedestrian area along side my lane (left ;lane) and the little SOB flipped me the bird as he WALKED past my speeding Silver Bullet.

Wow sorry to hear that.. And I feel bad cause I overspun my motor to 8K..
